Kit leak: Adidas to release special edition EA Sports FIFA Bayern Munich kit
SPOILER ALERT: It’s not a referee jersey, don’t worry.

It’s been leaked via Footy Headlines that Adidas is set to release a special edition kit in collaboration with EA Sports for FIFA’a Ultimate Team feature. Unique kits were also made for last year’s FIFA Ultimate Team, but this time around people will be able to purchase the actual jerseys themselves in addition to the digital versions in the video game.

Have a look at the leaked design concept:

Am I the only one who thinks this kit looks like a volcanic eruption?

Following a similar concept to the grey Adidas Parley kit, this jersey features a contrasting color scheme of different shades of red, white, and what appears to be a darker navy blue on the neck. The bottom of the kit along with bottom part of the sleeves feature a haphazard red, lava-looking pattern that (kind of) resemble particles of magma exploding over a dark, dark red base. On the front torso, that pattern gives way to a lighter shade of red just below the T-Mobile logo before giving way to an off-white base that backdrops the orange and (dark navy blue?) team badge. There’s also an orange Adidas logo on the front center of the dark blue collar in addition to the one that’s located on the left sleeve where the Qatar Airways patch normally goes on Bayern’s 2018/2019 kits.

In closer attention to detail, the kit also features the EA Sports logo along with the Adidas logo on the bottom tag which is located on the bottom right of the torso. It’ll be the first Bayern jersey available for purchase to feature the EA Sports logo on the tag and it’s been suggested that the jersey will cost just about as a regular kit (around €80m).

Adidas is set to make these jerseys for Juventus, Manchester United, and Real Madrid as well, though the design concept for these other three clubs has not been seen it. Just like all of the Parley kits that these teams have, the concepts likely won’t stray too far away from Bayern’s.

As always, we’d like to hear what all of YOU guys think about this kit:
